Jelena & Tom Are Getting Married!! | CT Engagement Photography

We meet again, wonderful blog readers!

Summer engagement sessions are always so much fun!   This session with Jelena & Tom at Mohegan Park in Norwich, CT was no exception. I absolutely love the versatility of this location!  It has beautiful archways and an amazing fountain which makes this location perfect for any type of session!  They brought along their pup, Zeke, to be included in some of the photos also!   I love when a couple includes their pets in their sessions.

Jelena and Tom met through friends at while at college, Purdue University.  They started dating in October of 2013 after becoming very close friends.  During the session, I heard all about how Tom surprised Jelena with the most perfect proposal!  The were on vacation in Maine and were staying in a little cottage next to an open field.  The field was surrounded by trees and had a little creek running through it.  She went out to walk their dog Zeke (who is just the cutest little thing) and when she turned to go back to the cottage, she saw Tom on one knee!!  He popped open a box that held the most beautiful engagement ring and asked her to marry him.  Completely surprised, and utterly thrilled, she said YES!!

This soon-to-be wedded couple will be getting married in the summer of 2018 in Indiana.  Jelena isn’t excited about any one thing in particular when it comes to planning her big day, she is excited about EVERYTHING!!  After spending the time I did with them, I know it’s going to be a gorgeous wedding!
