Alyssa & Brian | Rocky Neck Park Elopement

These two adorable people are Alyssa & Brian.  Alyssa first contacted me last year to ask me if I would be interested in photographing their elopement.  The answer was a resounding YES!!  I LOVE elopements… its just the bride and groom professing their love without any distractions.  Alyssa made her bridal bouquet out of sunflowers and white roses and it couldn’t have been more beautiful.  We found a quiet corner in Rocky Neck State Park in Niantic, CT with a little bridge that was a PERFECT place for them to profess their love for each other.  They each chose to write their own vows as well.  Brian made the box pictured below as a gift for Alyssa.  Inside the box were three small boxes with locks.  The boxes contained items that were symbolic of various events from their life together.  Once they finished saying “I Do”, we took a walk around the park and found a great spot for some photos of the newlyweds.  We found a large rock that overlooked the water.  These two were naturals in front of the camera… so full of love for each other that they needed no direction what so ever.  I simply put them together and watched the magic happen!
