BABY AUDREY’S HOSPITAL SESSION – CT NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY

The Fresh 48 sessions are quickly becoming something I LOVE shooting.  I will be writing another blog post soon explaining more about what they are and why I love them so much soon.

About 6 months ago, I had the honor of traveling to Yale New Haven, Children’s Hospital to meet this sweet little babe after she made her entrance into the world.  She was just as calm as could be and was more than content being wrapped in that custom wrap that her momma had made.  We were even able to get a few shots with the Dr. that delivered her.  Here is just a small peak at some of my favorite photos from her session.

If you are expecting and would like to have your newborn photographed when they arrived, contact me today!  I am currently booking newborns through September 2019.

TRUE LOVE STANDS THE TEST OF TIME – CT WEDDING & ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY

Theirs is a love story straight out of a movie!  Shaun & Sabrina’s story started when she was just 15 years old! The two of them met and she was was sure he was the one.  So sure, in fact that she started saving all the tips from her job in a box labeled “Shaun & Sabrinas Wedding”.  Shaun was older than Sabrina so when graduation came around for him and he went to college, they went their separate ways.  Time passed and although they were both in relationships with other people, they still stayed in touch.  Then one day, fate happened and they found themselves single and decided to start dating again.

That’s where I come in… a few years after they started dating, Shaun decided to pop the question. He contacted me and we met up to devise a plan to capture the minute Shaun asked Sabrina to be his wife.  Shaun took Sabrina back to the place where they had their first date, the Niantic Bay Boardwalk in Niantic, CT.  I arrived at the boardwalk before they did and pretended to be “just another wierd person taking pictures of the water” until it was time for me to turn and catch the moment Shaun got down on one knee.  IT WAS PERFECT!!  Sabrina had no idea and was so surprised that Shaun thought about capturing the moment.   She of course said yes, and then we had a mini engagement session to celebrate!!

If your engaged (or thinking about popping the question) and would like to chat with me about your wedding, contact me today.  I am currently booking weddings for 2019 and beyond.

Decatur House Wedding | Washington, DC

You Guys… Today is Ryan & Amanda’s 1 Year anniversary and I couldn’t think of a better way than to celebrate than with a blog post of some of their amazing photos!!

I first met Amanda & Ryan when we did their engagement session in Mystic, CT.  If you didn’t see them before, click here to check them out!  We had so much fun!  When they told me their plans for their Washington, DC wedding I was so excited!  I was even more excited when they asked me to photograph it!

The two of them celebrated their love for each other with a wedding and reception at The Decatur House in Washington, DC.  Their ceremony was outside on a beautiful brick patio with the reception inside the building.  Post Cards of various rooms in the white house and boxes of Hershey’s Kisses with the presidential seal were handed out as wedding favors and the building was decorated with various photos of past presidents, the groom and his friends even wore socks with president’s faces on them.

The whole day was amazing!  Take a look and see for yourselves…

Laura & Rob | Gillette’s Castle Engagement Session | CT Engagement Photographer

It’s a Beautiful weekend here in CT and I’ve officially started dreaming about fall!

Fall is my favorite season for photographing couples because the weather is just cool enough for them to be super cuddly with each other!  This blog post features Lauren & Rob and their fall engagement session at Gillette’s Castle State Park in East Haddam, CT.   Laura met Rob through mutual friends when they joined a co-ed softball league in Boston, MA.   Rob proposed to Lauren on the first day of spring on the public garden bridge in the Boston Common.  They chose the perfect outfits for their engagement session.  Laura wore jeans and a yellow blouse, and Rob chose jeans and a sweater over a button down shirt.

Wedding at The Glastonbury Country Club

Well hi again, everyone!

I absolutely loved photographing Yanira & Chris’s wedding on May 20, 2017 at the Glastonbury Hills Country Club.

I met Yanira & Chris for the first time when they stopped by my studio in Niantic.  We hit it off so well and they happily asked me to photograph their wedding.  We met up a few months later when I took their engagement photos at Harkness State Park in Waterford, CT and had so much fun.

They opted to not have a first look but instead had a “first touch” and it was one of the sweetest moments of the day.  Prior to the ceremony, Yanira received a gift from her soon-to-be husband, a beautiful photo album of their memories together.  They had a ceremony outside in front of a gazebo adorned with flowers, with a reception inside a beautiful ballroom.   Their wedding was just perfect and I can’t wait to see what amazing things await them!
