Hi everyone!

Let’s all give it up for one of the cutest couples ever: Cody & Hayley

Hayley told me all about how her and Cody met when Cody’s aunt introduced them. They talked until he went to Basic Training where they wrote back and forth until he was stationed in Charleston, SC and then they were practically inseparable.

She also filled me in on the proposal.  Cody was quite bad at keeping a secret. He was so nervous the day of. She had picked out a ring at her aunts jewelry store, Marthaler’s Jewlers, “just in case” Cody needed some advice. So the day before it started snowing endlessly and they went to Mohegan Park to look around and she loved it!  She told him “that is so beautiful it’s like Elsa’s wonderland!” So the next morning they went right back to that most beautiful spot above the lake.  Cody mumbled and fumbled with his words until Hayley graciously accepted his proposal to make her the happiest girl!

Their wedding date is set for July 9, 2017.  They will be getting married at the beautiful mountains below Asheville, SC and their reception will be inside a beautiful barn filled with southern love, dancing, and personal touches.  Hayley is SO SO SO excited because it will be the Fourth of July weekend so there will literally be fireworks along with the “fire works” of their love! It’ll be a giant cookout very relaxed and happy during their favorite holiday!  They’re not just excited about the details, though. They’re also excited to spend the rest of their lives together.  When I asked Hayley how she felt about marrying Cody, she said, “There is such a special relationship built with your best friend. The military has kept us hours apart for so long, neither of us can wait to be able to see one other everyday!  It’s so clear that this couple is head-over-heels for each other!
