Kelly & Jay – Wedding at The Spa at Norwich Inn – CT Wedding, Engagement & Portrait Photographer

I absolutely loved photographing Kelly & Jay’s wedding on May 2nd at St. Patrick’s Church in Mystic, CT followed by super fun reception at The Spa at Norwich Inn.  In between we stopped by Mohegan Park in Norwich to take advantage of the scenery for their formal portraits.

I met Kelly at my studio about six months before their wedding and the minute we started chatting, I had a feeling that Kelly, Jay & I were going to be a great fit.  Kelly & Jay have been together for seven years and have a beautiful daughter named Casey.  I had the pleasure of meeting Jay and Casey when we met for their engagement photos at Harkness Memorial State Park and he had me laughing the entire time.

I wish Kelly & Jay many more years of happiness!

Jessica & Commis Engagement – Harkness Memorial State Park – CT Wedding, Engagement, & Portrait Photographer

Hi everyone!

Let’s all give it up for one of the happiest & cutest couples on the planet: Jessica & Commis

I met up with these two at Harkness Memorial State Park for their engagement session.  During the session, Jessica told me all about how Commis and her met at Mohegan Sun Casino. They both worked in the beverage dept for 7 years together.  One day in a service bar he asked her to dinner and it was history ever since.

She also filled me in on the proposal. Commis proposed to her Christmas 2014. She told him she wanted a tread mill, Instead she’s getting a husband. Not a bad deal 😉 Of course, she said Y-E-S!

Their wedding date is set for October 24, 2015. They will be having their ceremony and reception at the beautiful Port & Starboard at Ocean Beach in New London, CT. They’re not just excited about the details, though. They’re also excited to spend the rest of their lives together. It’s so clear that this couple is head-over-heels for each other!

You’ll see what I mean when you see the photos.

Shawna & Brad – Harkness Memorial State Park – CT Wedding, Engagement & Portrait Photographer

I had such a great time photographing these two love birds.  While planning the session with Shawna, she mentioned that never had any engagement or wedding photos taken.  So, we met up at Harkness Memorial State Park, one of my most favorite places to photograph, for some fun.  It turned out to be a bit chillier than we originally thought but it didn’t seem to bother them a bit.  Shawna & Brad were so good in front of the camera all I had to do was put them into position, take a step back, and capture the love.

Linsday | Maternity

I first met Lindsay while out having lunch one day.  Right away, I noticed that she not only had flawless beauty but was also glowing because she was expecting her first child.  So, I did what I normally do and handed her my card and told her to call me.  A couple weeks later she contacted me about doing her maternity photos and I never even made the connection.  I met both Lindsay and her husband Wyatt at the CT College Arboretum in New London and we spent the whole hour together before realizing at the very end who she was.  She is going to be a great mom to her baby girl!

Max & Krista | The Water’s Edge Resort & Spa

Max & Krista have been together for 5 years and at my very first meeting with them, I knew they had what it takes.  They are absolutely perfect for each other!  Max & Krista’s wedding at The Water’s Edge Resort & Spa in Westbrook was full of emotion, laughter, and more love than anyone could imagine.  All the little details and things that represent these two, from Max’s love for boat shoes to the simple, but still very elegant (and delicious I might add) cake, were everywhere.  It was just a perfect celebration of the love they have for one another!
