I am so happy to have you visiting J. Marie Photography!  I am a maternity and newborn photographer based in  Southeastern CT, but I love to travel.  There’s lots to see so, grab a cup of coffee, and make yourself comfortable while you look through all the beautiful maternity and squishy newborn photos!!

AMANDA’S NYC MATERNITY SESSION – CT MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY

Amanda and I first met when I took newborn photos of her daughter Lily.  I have been so lucky to watch her little girl grow and to ultimately call Amanda a friend.  So, when she asked me to do maternity photos for baby #2, I was over the moon excited!

I floated the idea of a maternity session in New York City because I thought it would be amazing, (and had always wanted to do one there) and she agreed!!  So we met at Grand Central Station and took a short walk to Bryant Park for her session.  I most definitely wanted to include Lily in the session but as you will see in the photos, she really wanted nothing to do with it.  So, we took a break for food and some fun on the carousel instead!

Amanda wore a blue floral dress for the first half of her session before switching to a beautiful green Sew Trendy maternity gown from my studio wardrobe.  As you can see from the pictures below, it was perfect for her!  Amanda was the perfect mommy to be and any photographer would be lucky to photograph her.   I’m just glad she chose me!
